Questions
Are there any extra costs?
€300 covers the diagnostics: the kit with return packaging, the lab analysis and your results. It does not include a doctor consultation. If you want to discuss your results, take your lab report to your own doctor.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once for one test. If you want to compare seasons later, you can order another kit.
How can one test cover so many allergens?
One sample is run against the whole panel at once, on one test array in one lab process. You pay for one test and get 300 allergen results plus total IgE, €1 per allergen. 300 = whole allergens and their molecular components, from 150 allergen sources, plus total IgE.
Will my health insurer pay for it?
Usually not, because it is a self-ordered test. Some insurers reimburse tests ordered by a doctor. Check your policy before you order.
